Jamie is survived by his wife, Corie Johnson Lawrence; his "pride and joy", daughter Lexie Virginia Lawrence; his parents; brother Andy (Mary) Lowery; sisters Belinda (Greg) McElveen and Angie (Graham) Jones; as well as a loving niece, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Alexander of the Enon Community and Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Ray Lawrence of McComb.
Jamie was born in McComb, Mississippi, on April 9, 1979 to Jerry Lawrence and Ann Alexander. He graduated from Salem Attendance Center and later spent several years working in the electrical trade. Jamie had a passion for antique automobiles and anything with 4-wheels, old or new. He found solice in many types of music and enjoyed sharing this interest with his loving daughter, Lexie. Jamie had a deep love for his friends and family as well as his Savior, Jesus Christ.
A memorial to honor Jamie will be held at Enon Baptist Church in Walthall County on Friday, April 15, 2022, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend David Hedden will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Yates Boyd, Preston Rushing, Andy Lowery, Lee Anglin, Erick Kennedy, and Allen Bracey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bradley Wallace and Daniel Holmes.
