Jimmie "LaVern" Bizzell peacefully made her way to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior and many family and friends who await their reunion.

LaVern was born in Georgetown, Texas on January 29, 1933 to Anderson Fambrue (A.F.) Morris and Mary Lessie Mitchell Morris.

LaVern married William "Billy" Morris Bizzell on November 3, 1951 they had three children and were very active in their children's lives and their community.

LaVern worked as a waitress at L&M Cafe, Georgetown Elementary as Librarian, Georgetown Junior High as Librarian, City Pharmacy, and at Southwestern University where she retired. LaVern was active in Northside Methodist Church, PTA, Georgetown Fire Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary. Her greatest joy was being there for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's many activities and sporting events. She was the loudest and proudest fan in the stands.

LaVern is preceded in death by her parents A.F. Morris and Mary Morris, her husband William "Billy" Bizzell, in-laws Guy and Myrtle Bizzell, her sisters Ary "Sis" Cooper, Marie Helgren, and her brothers Elmer "Buddy" Morris, Douglas Morris, S. L. Morris, and Wallace Morris.

She is survived by her sisters Margie Hamilton and Barbara Gunn both of Burnet, her son Lynn Bizzell and wife Janet of Fredericksburg, daughters Glenda Williams and husband Herbert, Kathy Kohutek and husband Mike of Georgetown, her grandsons Timothy Rye, Jr. (Gretchen), Jerod Rye (Stephanie), Chancy Bizzell (Jaclynne), Levi Bizzell (April) and Rowdi Bizzell (Shandy) along with her granddaughters Robyn Densmore (Nathan), Tamara Sherman (Jayson), and Alysha Kohutek (Stuart) and many loved great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Pallbearers are Tommy Bizzell, Cade Rye, Canton Bizzell, Lane Bizzell, Hal Hawes, and Jerry Sharpe, and honorary pallbearers are Mike Kohutek, Ernest Bizzell, Kavin Bizzell, and Bill Hollon.

We would like to send our extreme thanks to the staff at Baylor Scott and White Oncology Clinic, Sandy Anne, MD, and the staff of AccentCare, Inc. Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John's Methodist Church, Georgetown or a Volunteer Fire Department of your choice.

Services will be held Thursday, April the 14th, 2022 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown Texas; visitation to begin at 1:00 pm with services beginning at 2:00 pm. Following the service, LaVern will be interred at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery.
