Joseph Lindley Lewis, 73, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born October 2, 1948 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Jeff Lewis and Betty Caldwell Lewis.

He graduated from Salina High School in 1966 and moved to the Ada area in 1969. He married the love of his life, Kaye Harrison Lewis, on November 26, 1971 at Vamoosa. He was a member of the Vamoosa Baptist Church. Joe worked as a truck driver and traveled all across the country and loved to tell stories of his adventures.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Janesa Miller and her husband Keith of Ada; a brother, Jim Lewis of Austin, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jaylan and Kayson Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and wife.

Graveside service is being held at the Vamoosa Cemetery Pavillion on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
