On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, a beautiful flower from our family garden was plucked. God saw fit in His infinite wisdom to seal the lips of His beloved Jessica Maree Ellen Fletcher, calling her from labor to reward.

Jessica Maree Fletcher was born on August 29, 1975, to the union of Flemon Fletcher and Sharon Jackson in Tacoma, WA.

During her childhood, Jessica was blessed with the gift of ballet where she danced for 7 years. She had the pleasure of performing in the well known production "The Nutcracker".

She went on to graduate from Henry Foss High School, and continued her education at Tacoma Community College and Clover Park Technical College, where she studied Health Care Administration and Pharmacological Technology.

Jessica had an entrepreneurial spirit and envisioned opening her very own haircare and beauty supply store. She loved to read and enjoyed being on social media.

Jessica was born into a family that feared the Lord. She developed a personal relationship with God and accepted Him as her Lord and Savior at a young age.

In May 2018, Jessica changed her residency to Vacherie, LA. There, she was loved and adored by all of her family members and friends. Whenever she entered a room, her smile was instantly recognized. She had a love for all of her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She became a babysitter and cared for her younger relatives. Jessica always remained true to her relatives and was always there for them in their time of need.

Jessica will be missed dearly by her parents, Flemon Fletcher and Sharon Jackson (Marvin); brothers, Cameron and Ryan Jackson, and Chase Fletcher (Laura); sister, Chaselynn Fletcher; grandfather, Acey Lovett, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Ellen Fletcher, and Gertha Lovett.

A celebration honoring the life of Jessica Maree Ellen Fletcher will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at First Baptist Church, 1244 Magnolia Heights, Vacherie, LA 70090. Visitation from 9am-11am. Service will begin at 11am. Interment will be held at New Tacoma Cemeteries and Funeral Home in Tacoma, WA.
