David Brian Jarvis, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born on April 30, 1927 in Bluffton, Indiana to the late Emerson and Lois Jarvis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his brother in law and sister, the late James and Ruth Ann Furgason. David graduated with a degree in Economics from Bowling Green State University. After his graduation he enlisted in the U. S. Army as a combat radio operator stationed in Korea. After returning to the States, David married Nancy Jane Powell. They were married for 62 years until Nancy's passing in 2017. They had two daughters that survive them.

David had a long positive life, staying upbeat and active up until just the last few weeks. He was a businessman, part time musician, and he avidly studied and followed the stock market. He was very proud of his church, Northwest Chapel Grace Brethren of Dublin. David had a very humble spirit and a strong faith along with a wonderful sense of humor and never took himself seriously. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Covenant House (www.covenanthouse.org), a way out of homelessness for thousands of youth, and his favorite charity.
