Roger W. Taylor, 67, of Assonet, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at home. He was the husband of Susan E. (Reed) Taylor and father of the late Andrew S. Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was born in Providence, RI son of the late Alexander and Shirley A. (Bernard) Boick and stepson of the late Leo Taylor and had resided in Assonet since 1984. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an engineer for Dominion, Providence. He enjoyed cooking.
Including his wife, he is survived by two nieces and a nephew. He will be remembered as always being thoughtful, kind and donating whatever he could to those in need.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment will be private.
