Rebecca Linn "Becky" Carroll Reed passed away on April 9, 2022 at her residence. She was born March 2, 1958, in Douglasville, Georgia, daughter of the late Herman Powers and Wanda Faye Smallwood Carroll. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a great grandchild Wesson Lane.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Allen Reed; children, Jennifer Barrett and Steven Briggs of Muscadine, Alabama, Steven and Nicole Barrett of LaGrange and Stephanie and Timothy Lane of Buchanan; grandchildren Elisha Briggs, Zach Briggs, Hunter Briggs, Nathan and Kayla Lane, Jessica Lane, Joanna Lane, Nick and Shannon Lane, Danielle Lane, Marie Barrett and Jonathan Barrett; sisters Linda and William Miller and Judy and Gary Smith; brother, Lloyd and Darlene Carroll; twenty four great grandchildren; three nieces and five nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from noon – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Services will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Golden officiating. Nathan Lane, Nick Lane, Steven Barrett, Hunter Briggs, Jonathan Barrett, Zach Briggs, Richard Smith, David Carroll and Christian Hardy will serve as Pallbearers. Interment will follow at Center Baptist Church.
