He was the son of the late Robert Donald and Marie Violet Knight Blankenship. He was preceded in death by brother, Edward Ray Moore. He was survived by two brothers, Steve H. Burns (Michelle) and Ricky Allen Moore and two sisters, Sharon Thomas (Ricky) and Sylvia Moore.
