Linda "Nanny" Charlene James was born on April 3, 1946, in Blue Springs, MO and passed away peacefully after a long illness.

Linda served as a US Army Nurse from October 1965-November 1968 with an honorable discharge.

Linda loved horses and spending time with her friends. She enjoyed caring for all her nieces and nephews and was known by all of them as their "Nanny". Linda was always caring for others whether it be the elderly or anyone in need.

Linda was very knowledgeable of the Seneca Cayuga Tribe and was always involved and contributing to their ceremonies.

Linda is survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9-11 a.m. at the Seneca Cayuga Community Building with a dinner being served at noon. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at the Council House Cemetery in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
