She was born March 6, 1938, in Ross County, to the late Elmer M. and Bessie E. Salts West.
Surviving are several cousins including Becky and Arlan Humble, of Elm Grove and Lee West, of Athens. After the death of her parents, she was predeceased by her cousins and caregivers, Luster and Deloris West.
Leah was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a 1956 Graduate of CHS and was a retired private piano teacher.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Charles Case officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Ware Funeral Home
