Married Timothy, June 16, 1956∼Donna Jean Sassaman, 85, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, surrounded by her family. She was born in Rockford IL, to Bert Coddington and Jenny Coddington. Her extended family included her step mother Elvira Coddington and Frank & Madeline Dougherty who were very special to her.
Donna was retired and a member of First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs,AR. She previously worked at Oaklawn Race Track in payroll for many years. She loved traveling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with her husband Tim, and had many friends there.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Hackbarth.
Survivors include her loving husband, Timothy Sassaman, Sr., married 66 years,brother, Robert Coddington, daughters, Peggy MCGuire (William), Patricia Talbert (James), Son Timothy Sassaman, Jr (Tammy), grandchildren, Ashton MCGuire (Morgan), Krista Stinson (Ray), Justin Talbert (Jamie), Matthew Talbert (Bethany), Kalli Sassaman , Seth Sassaman; and many great grandchildren.
Burial will be for family & friends at Hollywood Cemetery, Thursday at 2pm with Bro. David Wilson officiating.
