"Mary Sue Sneed, 54, of Murphy passed away Thursday, April 07, 2022. She was born in Cherokee County to Stanley Carl and Lois Mashburn Sneed of Murphy. Mary had lived most of her life in Cherokee County. She loved working with children, and she had worked as an Exceptional Children's Teacher working in the Cherokee County School System. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mary did sign language with "For His Glory" and youth ministry through Truett.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Leonard and Lillie Mashburn and Sheridan and Sadie Sneed.
Surviving in addition, to her father and mother is a brother, James Sneed.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, April 18, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Monday at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services.
