Betsy was a beautiful bouncing baby girl that seemed perfectly normal for her first four months. All out lives changed less than two months later when we learned she had Krabbe's Disease.

Betsy was featured in the Sunday edition of Parade Magazine, and her short life reached millions of people.

Betsy was survived by her parents, William and Debra Taft, her older sisters Jennifer and Jessica, her Paternal Grandparents Franklin L. & Shirley Taft & Maternal Grandparents James E. & Joyce Lindly. Her Maternal Great Grandparents James & Eulalia Lindly & John and Dorothy Lynch. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and more, but too many to list by name.

Her ashes were sealed in a Heart Shaped Box and given to her parents. Her niece Emily Nicole Johnson passed away over a decade later at the age of 3 years and 3 weeks. She was preceded in death by an Uncle James Joseph Lindly, who also passed away as an infant.
