She attended Southaven High School and graduated in 1994. April accomplished many goals in her career. She was an established and Registered RPSGT Polysomnographic Technologist. She was very passionate about sleep medicine and helping patients. She started her career at Desoto Sleep Center/ Reggie White Sleep Disorder Center in Southaven in 2009. She later moved to Tupelo in Jan 2012. She enhanced her career as Clinical Lab Manager of Reggie White Sleep Disorder-Tupelo. She finished her sleep medicine career working for North MS Medical Center Sleep Lab, where she held Sleep Tech of the year in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
She was preceded in death by her father James Henry Champluvier and her son Jacob Dale Brown. She survived by her husband Jermy Stevens, her mother Deborah Champluvier, a sister Lynn Nichols (Phillip), a brother James Henry Champluvier II ( Amanda), her son Aaron Brown (Abby), two daughters Jennifer Brown and Alexis Odom (Carlos), 12 grandchildren and her best friend of twenty years Misty Fly ( Chris ). The family will receive friends, Wednesday, 5pm - 8pm at Hernando Funeral home. Her celebration of life service will be held Thursday, 10am, also at the funeral home with interment at Forest Hill South Cemetery.
