It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of David Sanford Lee, 77, Larimore, ND. He passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home.
David was born to Francis Sanford and Elizabeth (Matheson) Lee, on October 21, 1944, at Grand Forks Deaconess Hospital. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his best friend and partner, Karen Durkin; three daughters: Stephanie (Mike) Johnson, Laurel Lee and Allison (Walt) Berisko; along with their mother, Sherry Lee; the adored "Grands": Samantha (Jason) Dalbey, Brett (Ashley) Johnson, Madison (Aric Berg) Johnson, Jenna (Monty Hendrickson) Johnson, AJ Kyllo, Talia (Dan) Warren, Hannah (Greg) Shepherd and the "Greats": Blake "Chabinski", Jace "JW", Lauren "Gertie", Riggin "Duke" and Clayton "Sparky". He is also survived by siblings: Sandra Hendrickson, Mary Godsey, John Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
David was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Janice Lee; brothers-in-law: George Hendrickson and Harry Godsey.
FUNERAL SERVICES: 2 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, of Larimore.
VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral in the church.
INTERMENT: Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.
