OBITUARY
Vickie Lindsey (Nash) of Chattanooga was received into the arms of her Savior on April 6, 2022 after a short stay in the hospital due to a heart condition.

She was born on April 15, 1956 to James and Betty Nash who also proceeds her. Also, there to greet her in Heaven, her grandson, Hudson Horner.

Vickie was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. She graduated from Red Bank High School and retired from Blood Assurance. Up until her death she worked in the office of the Salvation Army.

Left to cherish her memory, her children, Crystal (Phillip) Horner of Hixson, Carmen Lindsey of Chattanooga, Grant Jackson of Chattanooga, and her grandson, Henry Horner of Hixson. Siblings, Dennis (Penney) Nash and Vanessa (Frank) Loven both of Chattanooga. She also leaves behind her niece and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Vickie had many priorities including spending days on the River, going to Daytona Beach for vacation, and cheering on the TN Vols football. She was fiercely supportive of her children's and grandson's sports and activities. Vickie was a member at Temple Baptist Church and most recently attended Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank.

Her family would like to thank the nurses and physicians at Parkridge Medical Center especially the nurses of 4 West, 3 West, and SICU for their amazing care during her last days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chattanooga chapter of the Salvation Army.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 10th from 4pm to 7pm at Hamilton Funeral Home in Hixson, TN and from 10am to 11am on Monday, April 11th with the funeral service beginning at 11am in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral home.

Interment will immediately follow the funeral at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.
