Mr. James W. "Jimmy" Schmidt, 47, a resident of Union City, died April 8, 2022 at Continue Care Hospital in Paducah.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturdy, April 23rd at Greater Vision Church of God. Bishop Robin Rotgers will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday at the Greater Vision Church of God.

Mr. Schmidt was born on August 23, 1974 in Union City, TN. He was the son of the late Donald E. Schmidt and Sherry (Bone) and Alfred Stribling of Union City.

He worked as a Repo Assistant for Krietman's Towing. He attended Greater Vision Church of God.

The family requests memorials be sent to: St. Jude Children's Hospital or Le Bonheur Children's Hospital

He is also survived by 2 brothers; Charlie Stribling of Mainz, Germany, Steven Stribling, sister; Louise (Billy) Goodman, niece; Payton Goodman, 2 nephews; Parker Goodman all of Brush Creek, TN, Donovan Stribling of Union City, grandmother, Edna Bone of Union City, and several cousins and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Bone, Grandparents, Curly and Mary Ruth Pugh, and William and Mary Schmidt.
