She was married to John G. Ridgley (1864-1932)

Decatur--Mrs. Fannie S. Ridgley, 65, of 547 West Leafland died at 7:15 p.m. Friday(Sept 23, 1932) at home. Death was caused by paralysis, a stroke which she suffered in July being followed by three others.

Mrs. Ridgley was the widow of John G. Ridgley, who died January 11th, 1932. She was born near Centerville, Aug. 18, 1867, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Spear, pioneer resident of that community. She had been a Decatur resident approximately 18 years, and was a member of the First Methodist Church.

She leaves four children: Mrs. Ray Miller (Bernice) and Herbert F. Ridgley, both of Decatur; Ralph W. Ridgley, Arcola, and Mrs. William Schrader (Edith), of Chicago. She leaves also one brother William Spear of Stockton, Calif, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Butterfield (Pearl)
, San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. William Burns (Allie), Rantoul, and seven grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home and where funeral services were conducted at 1:30 Sunday afternoon in the chapel there, with Rev. A. R. Grummon in charge. Burial was in the Mansfield Cemetery.
