Andre Dwayne Hawkins age 34, of W. Main St., Springfield, died April 4, 2022 at his residence. Born December 2, 1987 in Lexington, KY, he was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Larry Young, May 27, 2011, his mother, Regina Hawkins, a sister, Adrian Hawkins and his grandparents who raised him, Charles William Young, April 17, 2017 and Mary Elizabeth Logan Young, June 14, 2020. He was a 2006 graduate of Washington County High School and had worked for Barton Brands. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He is survived by a son, Drelin Hawkins of Bardstown, a daughter, Caprisha Hawkins of Bardstown, a brother, Donovan Johnson of Rhode Island, three sisters, Betty Jean Hawkins and Angie Young both of Lexington and Ashley Hamilton of Bardstown, two uncles, Darnell (Rebecca) Young of Springfield and David (Charlene) Young of Lexington.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial mass will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Edmund Ditton, O.P. officiating. Burial of his cremains will be with his father at St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery. Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:30 am till time of service at 11:00 am Wednesday morning. Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
