Jewell Pauley, 76, of Alum Creek died Nov. 26, 1999, at home after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Alum Creek Church of Christ. Surviving: daughter, Barbara Williams of Conroe, Texas; sons, Ronnie Pauley, Greg Pauley and Marshall Pauley, all of Alum Creek; brother, Orville Harless of St. Albans, Garland Harless of Hurricane; sister, Norma Escue of St. Albans; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Alum Creek Church of Christ with the Rev. Gerald Watts, the Rev. Richard Runyan and the Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will be in Pauley Cemetery, Alum Creek. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar, WV 25064.
