Anna E. Clark

Anna Clark, beloved companion, sister, aunt and great aunt passed away peacefully on April 5, 2022. She was 89.

Anna was born September 27, 1932 in Schuylkill Haven, PA to Joseph Clark and Susan Willard Clark. After relocating to Wilmington, DE, Anna began a 30 year career with DuPont. She worked in the legal, advertising and public affairs departments.

Upon retiring, Anna expanded her interests in gardening, hiking, dancing, cards, reading and travel. She was a member of the Wilmington Trail Hiking Club and the Leaf and Petal Garden Club of Wilmington. Anna visited England several times, especially enjoying the gardens. She also traveled to Australia, Canada, Mexico and many locations across the US. Anna has a large extended family living in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Florida and enjoyed visits, travel and activities with them. She will be greatly missed.

Anna is survived by her sister, Thelma Haldeman, seven nieces and nephews along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Helen Templin, and beloved companion Maurice Candy.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 am with a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon on Sunday, May 1 at McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
