Mary June Stevens, 90, passed peacefully from this life on April 8, 2022, at her home in Cushing surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Mary was born on August 22, 1931, in Avery, Oklahoma to proud parents Loyd and Hazel (Donnell) Greenfield. She was raised in the Shamrock/Chandler areas graduating from Chandler High School. On September 7, 1950, she was married to the love of her life, Lloyd Stevens in Davenport, Oklahoma. Their union would be blessed with three wonderful daughters, Carla, Twila, and Nesta. Mary was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in 1953 by Bro. Leonard Stevens. She was a dedicated member and was faithful to pray for many throughout her life. Mary loved flower gardening, hummingbirds, and dearly looked forward to the day she would go to meet the love of her life she's longed to be reunited with for over 40 years, Lloyd.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her daughter, Twila and husband Dwayne Thompson; one granddaughter, Lisa Rayeann Porter; her parents Loyd and Hazel; brothers, Loyd Jr., Gerald, and twins Merle and Earl.

She is survived by her daughters, Carla and husband Jim Ellis of Morgantown, IN, Nesta and husband Bruce Porter of Agra, OK; grandchildren, Jamie, Rocky, Jessi, Marlene, Chera, Misty, Hayley, Dustin, Jeremy, Brian and all of their families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022, with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, Oklahoma. A private family burial will follow at Parkland Cemetery.
