Philip Savage of Glen Burnie, MD passed away on Thursday, 7 April 2022 in Columbia, MD. A native of Brentwood, MD Phil was born 28 November 1936 to the late Francis Edmund Savage & Anna Amelia Savage née Hill.

A 1954 graduate of Northwestern HS in Hyattsville, he was drafted to the US Army in 1962. His service led him to Hawaii where he fell in love with a beautiful nurse working there. Phil and his beloved wife were united in marriage 21 August 1965 in the Strathearn United Church in her native Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

After their union, they made their life together in New Carrollton, MD where they raised their family. Surviving in addition to his loving wife, are one son and his wife Blake and one daughter and her husband; five grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald & Paul, and sister Marjorie Spear.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 15 at 1 pm at Parklawn Cemetery in Rockville, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or a charity of your choosing.
