Born on September 17, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Lilian (Buehler) Duff.
A graduate of the Upper Moreland High School Class of 1950, Lois went on to enjoy a career of over thirty years with Smith-Kline, retiring as a phlebotomist.
She was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
Outside of work, Lois loved to ride horses, visiting the beach, and art. Above all, though, she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Heimsoth; one son: Richard Neil Heimsoth; one daughter: Marcella Heimsoth; two brothers: Earl and Martin Duff; and two sisters: Claire May and Caroline Duff; and her beloved dog, Molly, with whom she is now happily reunited.
She enjoyed a tour of Ireland in 2005 with her nephew Buzz Duff. She was especially happy when they found the locations of where her grandfather Thomas Duff spent his childhood. She remembered his many fond stories of Culnafay ireland.
