Pamela Marie Whaley was born March 27, 1965, in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Floyd "Irv" and Marilyn M. Goodrich Whaley. She was educated in Galva schools and graduated from Galva High School in 1983. Pam then attended Black Hawk College in Kewanee and received an Associate Degree in Business Technolgy in 1986. She enlisted in the United States Air Force in January of 1987 and served until September 1994. Her marriage to Timothy J. Foley took place on June 8, 1991, in Galva.
She operated the Tiny Tike's Home Day Care from September 1994 to August 1998. Pam then worked as a secretary at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Galva from 2004 to 2008. She was a teacher aid from October 2008 to June 2013 at the Galva Elementary School, and then as a secretary at the Galva Junior High School from August 2013 to March 2017. Pam was then employed as a secretary at the Galva Elementary School from August 2017 until the present. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church and the Galva Athletic Boosters.
Those surviving are her husband, Timothy Foley, Galva, four sons, Trevor Foley, Navarre, Florida, Derek Foley, Chicago, IL, Brennan Foley, Davenport, IA, Caelin Foley, Champaign, IL, and her mother and stepfather, Marilyn and George Wilson, Galva. Other survivors include sisters, Wende (Kevin) Devlin, Rio, IL, Rebecca Riley, Atkinson, IL, a brother, Steve Whaley, Bloomington, IL, a step-sister, Kristine (Eric) Anderson, Galva, nephews, Rick (Kelly) Preston, Geneseo, Ryan Preston, LaFayette, IL, Seth (Angela) Devlin, Fortville, IN, a niece, Jera (Coty) McCaw, Viola, IL, great-nephews, Karson Devlin, Fortville, IN, and Reed Preston, Geneseo, and great-nieces, Payton Devlin, Bristol, McCaw, Remi Greer, all of Viola, IL, Rylie Preston, Geneseo, and her two dogs, Shiloh Bean and Lucy Loo. Her father, Irv Whaley, and her grandparents, Hardy and Helen Goodrich, preceded her in death.
