Services for John T Heard,88 of 2608 N.W.2nd St.Oklahoma City Ok.,will be at 2:00PM Monday at Westlawn Baptist Church with burial in Resthaven Cemetery under direction of Smith and Kernke Funeral Home. He died Saturday.
Heard was a pioneer Oklahoman having moved to Indian Territory in 1885.He settled in Ryan and lived there until moving to the city in 1930. He was a member of Westlawn Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife,Della,four daughters,Mrs.Bertha Baker,Mrs.Mertle Fondville,and Mrs.Gladys Brashears all of the city,and Miss Dovie Mae Heard,of Norman Ok.
Six sons Bill,Alford,Lonnie,Ova and Delmar all of the city and Don of Piedmont,Ok.
