Friday, January 4, 2019 Gary Wayne Goff, loving husband of 49 years and father of four girls, passed away at age 66.
Gary was born on April 2, 1952 in Clarksdale, MS to Houston and Minnie Rae Goff.
October 24, 1969, he married Ardath Irene Murphree. They raised four daughters: Jennifer, Wendy, Priscilla and April.
Gary had a passion for hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a tinker and a fixer. Whether it was a boo-boo, broken heart or something that was broken, he could fix it.
Gary was preceded in death by his father Houston and mother Minnie, his daughter Wendy Joyner, his grandchild Emelia Joyner, two sisters Linda Stevens and Alida Elliott and two brothers Buddy and Rollie Goff.
Gary is survived by his wife Ardath Irene Goff of Brandon, MS. Three daughters Jennifer (Jim) King of Brandon, Priscilla (Blair) Holland of Rapid River, MI and April (Larry) Burke of Oxford. Nine grandchildren Jada (Jordan) Nail, Remington King, Tessa (Stephen) Webb, Gray Joyner, Blake Holland, Carter Holland, David Burke, Christopher Burke and Hope Burke. Five Great-grandchildren Ginnie King, Lexie King, Maria Nail, Emmalee Nail and Isabella Nail. One brother Dakins (Cheryl) Goff and one sister Faye (Jody) Holloway, son-in-law Clint Joyner and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life on January 8, 2019 at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. Visitation from 1-2 with services starting at 2. Burial at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Brother Kevin Tribble officiating.
