Cecil Gifford Pierce, 89, of Exton, PA, passed away on April 6, 2022.

Born in West Grove, PA in 1932, he was the son of the late Paul Phillip and Rebecca Marguerite (nee Riale) Pierce. Cecil served honorably in the US Army. He worked as a Millwright and Shift Foreman for Lukens Steel, Coatesville, PA. Cecil's first love was his family. He always took care of his family when they were in need. Cecil enjoyed playing horseshoes, baseball, and following his favorite team, the Phillies. He and his wife, Betty, liked to play Scrabble and do crossword puzzles. Cecil enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and going to the Delaware Park Race Track.

Cecil was the beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Knapp) Pierce; loving father of Kathy Jo Logue (Paul), Gifford D. Pierce (Susan), and Karen Kae Gramling (the late Tom); caring grandfather of Jacqueline Warn (Chris), Stephen Pierce Logue, Alexandra Crooks (Josh), Kathleen McCann (Kyle), Jessica Gramling, and Jack Gramling and great-grandfather of Joseph Warn, and Serena Crooks; dear brother of Rebecca Edwards (Edwin) and MaryAnn Henry (the late Ray); predeceased by his brothers, Howard Pierce, David Pierce, and Francis Pierce.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 11 AM-12 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Service at 12 PM. Interment Faggs Manor Cemetery, Cochranville, PA.
