Susan Bernice Dooley Rhodes passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017. Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. with visitation to follow. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Alzheimer/dementia research or a charity of your choice. Susan was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on Jan. 15, 1947, to Paul and Caroline Dooley. She was an accomplished artist with bodies of work in acrylic watercolors, black and white stipple point, stained glass and photography. Susan loved children, especially her six grandsons and two granddaughters. Many thanks to Silverado Memory Care Community of Fort Worth for the loving care they provided Susan. Susan was preceded In death by her parents and grandparents. Survivors: Husband, John Rhodes; children, Caroline Reyes (Jose) and Amanda Rhodes (Todd Russell); grandchildren, Joey, Tommy, Robby and Davy Reyes and Kylie, Erin, JT, and Max Russell; brothers, Scott, Mike and John Paul Dooley; sisters, Katie Harvey and Maureen Banas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
