Michael was born to Raymond "Jack" Nelson Adams and Kathryn Ann (McFee) Adams. He graduated from Creston High School in 1984. Mike later earned his Associate Degree in Nursing and Certificates from Mary Grimes School of Nursing.
In March 2007, Mike married Elizabeth at Lawrence, Kansas. Together they had a son, Dmitri Michael Adams. They later divorced. Mike was a loving and dedicated RN, father, son, friend and brother. Michael found his work at the trauma center very rewarding and worked at various nursing homes in Kansas.
Mike shared with his heart and created voluminous art and music. He loved sharing his talents and collaborating with his friends.
