Theresa Alexander, 83, of New Castle passed away the morning of April 2. 2022 at UPMC Jameson, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 23, 1938 in New Castle Theresa was the daughter of the late James A. "Gebo" Gabriel and Mary Bashara Gabriel.

Theresa is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Alexander whom she married on October 10, 1970.

In the early years Theresa had worked as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Ralph Hamilton. She later worked for the New Castle School District as a secretary for over seventeen years, until she retired.

Theresa was a faithful, lifetime, hardworking member of St. John the Baptist Maronite Catholic Church. She was a member of the church council and the Altar and Rosary Society. Following in her mother's footstep, Theresa was the Bingo coordinator for St. John's Church.

Theresa enjoyed playing bingo, visiting casinos to play Keno, playing games and watching videos on her I Pad. A loving wife, mother and grandmother Theresa loved cooking for her family and spending time with all of them, especially her grandsons. She would always send text messages to her family and end the text with LMF, (love my family).

In addition to her husband, Theresa is survived by her children, Tracy Yeropoli (Vito) of Hillsville, Pa., and Kristie Miller (Tony) of New Castle, one brother, George J. Gabriel, one sister, Debra DeBlasio (Richard), two sisters-in-law, Alexis Gabriel and Barbara Wildauer, and four grandsons, Anthony Miller, Dominic Miller, Vinny Miller and Vito Yeropoli.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Joseph Alexander, one sister, Rita George, and two brothers, Anthony (Gebo) Gabriel and James E. Gabriel.

Visitation will be on Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Service of Incense will be held at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

A procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Maronite Catholic Church. Father Hanna Karam will officiate.

Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
