Kenneth Dotson, age 84, of Hawkins, TX passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in Hawkins, TX. He was born on January 16, 1938, in Rockwall, TX to the late William Dotson and Sylvia Dotson. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Gladewater, TX. Kenneth served in the US Navy during the Korean War and would go on to retire from his service in the Navy. After retiring, he went to work for Trane and retired from Trane, and he also enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandy Dotson, daughter; Sharon Evelyn Bradley, brother; Clifford Eugene Dotson.
He is survived by his current wife, Linda Dotson of Hawkins, TX, sons; Kevin Dotson and wife Rachel of Tyler, TX, Ronnie Morris and wife Tammy of Gilmer, TX, daughters; Michele Clark and husband Billy of Longview, TX, Kimberly Powell and husband Kerry of Big Sandy, TX, sisters; Suzy Wright and husband Ken of Wolfe City, TX, Mary Davis and husband Leonard of Garland, TX, Donna Sue Tucker of Rockwall, TX, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 1:30pm to 2pm at Hawkins Cemetery, 602 East Blackbourn Hawkins, TX 76765. Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Terrell Laney Pearson conducting. Pallbearers will be Kameron Powell, Tanner Morris, Mike Reeves, James Reeves, John Paul Reeves, Darrell Cook.
