Peggy Sue was born June 10, 1928, in Fort Worth, the daughter of Richard Baxter and Grace McElvany. She was a graduate of Lake Worth High School.
Survivors: Husband of 61 years, George D. Hollis; daughter, Cathy Ann Hollis and husband, William R. Scott, of Monroe, Ga.; son, George Richard Hollis and wife, Gigi; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristen and Rachel Hollis; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Isabella Hollis; brother, Richard McElvany and wife, Becky; and many cherished extended family and friends.
