David "Dave" R. Beher
July 8, 1941 - April 3, 2022
David R. "Dave" Beher, 80, of Anderson, IN passed away on April 3, 2022 after an extended illness. Dave was born in Anderson, IN to the late, Wilfred and Betty (Hertle) Beher. Dave grew up in North Anderson and attended Anderson Elementary School before going to Anderson High School. He graduated with the class of 1959 and received a baseball scholarship to Ball State University. After his time at Ball State, Dave enlisted in the United States Navy as a Corpsman and faithfully served our country. He then went on to work for General Motors for a number of years. Dave found his spiritual home at Grace Baptist Church and was a faithful member for many years. He enjoyed golfing, fixing up and racing his sprint car, and exploring caves. Most importantly, he enjoyed being with his family.
Dave will be dearly missed by his sister, Debbie (Kenneth) Kraay; his nephews and nieces, Bryan (Renee) McDaniel, Carrie (Zane) Brown, Zachary (Grace) Kraay, Jennifer (Mike) Jackson, and Ashley (fiancé, Fonda Bosemer) Farrar; his numerous great-nieces and nephews; and his great-great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Betty and his sister, Linda Farrar.
Cremation rites have been accorded. The services for Dave are pending for a later date.
