He was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida in 1988. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was Catholic in faith and was a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 ½ years, Mary Lopez; one son Manuel (Rose Mary) Lopez; extended family, Debbie (John) Hisamoto, Daniel DePriest, and David (Ruth) DePriest; sisters, Lydia DeLeon and Iris Rodriguez; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Some of the things he liked to do were golf, baseball, Boy Scouts, and travel. He loved to help people and his goal in life was to bring a smile to someones' face every day.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Land O Lakes, Florida.
