Jewell is survived by her daughters Pam Young her husband Matt, Tammy McFarland her husband Rob, brother Jimmie Mahaffey, grandchildren six and great grandchildren seventeen.
Jewell is preceded in death by her father Roy, mother Nettie, sons Darryel Carter, Danny Davis, daughter Peggy Carter, brothers Gerald Mahaffey, Fred Mahaffey, Billy Mahaffey, sisters Othene Izzard, Cleta Lewis, Louise Davis.
