BOBBY DOYLE JACKSON
December 31, 1951 ~ April 5, 2022

Bobby Doyle Jackson, age 70, of Wright City, went to play in the heavenly band while surrounded by his children singing to him on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in Paris, Texas.

He was born on Monday, December 31, 1951, to F.E. and Effie Westbrook Jackson in Glover, Oklahoma.

Bobby loved spending time with his family and playing the guitar while listening to his kids and grandkids sing, he was a songwriter and wrote several songs from country to gospel "Glory bound train" being one of them he wrote with Bea Bea Jolliff.

Bobby loved to go hunting and fishing and grew a garden every year. He did many different jobs over the years from being a post hauler to building fences and then retired from Tri Lakes in Wright City, Oklahoma. Bobby was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, LeaAnn Jackson; four brothers, Larry Jackson, Bill Fines, and Michael and Danny Jackson; two sisters, Phyllis Bray, Kathryn Rowan and granddaughter Caston Jackson, grandson Caiman Rush and grandson Kelly Holloman.

Bobby is survived by his sons, Bobby Shane Jackson of Wright City, Oklahoma, and James Oliver of Eufaula, Oklahoma; five daughters, Brandy Goodwin and husband Mike of Talihina, Oklahoma, Donnita Overturf and husband Jeff of Gillham, Arkansas, Paradice Jackson of Hugo, Oklahoma, Charity Jackson of Eufaula, Oklahoma and Katie Roberts and husband Ashton of Broken Bow, Oklahoma;

Brothers, Steve Jackson, and wife, Tammy of Forest Grove, Oklahoma, Leon Jackson and wife, Wanda of Wright City, Oklahoma, and Roy Jackson and wife, Joyce of Heavener, Oklahoma; sisters, Vicky Sullivan of Wright City, Oklahoma, Darlene Newsome of Forest Grove, Oklahoma;

Special grandson, Blake James Jackson of Wright City, special friend and ex-wife Bea Bea Jolliff of Eufaula Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren other grandchildren; twenty-four Great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many special friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:11 A.M. at Glover Cemetery in Glover, Oklahoma.

No visitation is planned. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
