She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John M. Wilson, Jr., her parents, Thomas H. Grove and Eileen M. Grove, and her brother, Tom Grove. She is survived by her daughters Jeanne Gammon and Lori Boone (husband, Bill); and son Keith Wilson (wife, Shelly); five grandchildren: Johnna Nunn (husband Jared), Justin Boone (wife, Mollie), Tarin Knight (husband, Paul), Lyndsey Simons (husband, Mark), and Camille Wilson; and by eight great-grandchildren: Delaney Taubel, Colby Poggemoeller, Orin Knight, Hayden Boone, Abigail Nunn, Karis Knight, Nolan Boone, and Elliot Nunn, and by her sister Karen Laband and brother Stephen Grove.
She was born and raised in Seattle, WA, and graduated from Renton High School. She earned her BA in Education at Central Washington University, where she met and married "Jack" prior to commissioning into the U.S. Air Force. She orchestrated many relocations over their 20-year military career, and she made every house a home for her family.
She will be remembered for her passion for the Word of God and sharing what she learned with others. Many of our friends called her "mom". Her pursuits included singing in choirs and quartets, playing piano and the organ, serving as a Stephen's Minister, managing a church tape library ministry, substitute teaching in public schools, and serving military families through Family Services.
