Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 5, at Schultz Funeral Home in Grand Mound, with Pastor Denise Anderberg officiating. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.
Jane Ann Lloyd was born November 2, 1949, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin the daugther of Milton and Marcella (Lambrecht) Lloyd. She married Terry Lee Esbaum on August 15, 1981, in Durant. Terry preceded her in death on October 15, 1996. She married Alan Ray Lichtenstein on February 17, 2001, in Eldridge. Together they lived in Durant, where she was employed as an English teacher at the Durant High School and later worked with the school board at the local and state level, until she retired. They then moved to a farm near Grand Mound. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, camping, tending to her flowers and gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Alan; two sons, Jamey Olsen and Jeremy (Maria) Olsen; one step-daughter, Paula (Todd) Rogers; one step-son, Paul (Jaime Steinbeck) Lichtenstein; two grandchildren, Ellie and Robbie Olsen; five step-grandchildren, Jacob and Avery Rogers, Ava and Jorja Lichtenstein and Carver Johnson; and one brother, Tom Lloyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, William Fraser and her first husband.
