37857 Private Peter Raymond Gillson, 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, Aged 20 from Holsworthy NSW. Gillson was left behind, presumed dead, when his unit withdrew from contact 30 kms north-east of Bien Hoa on 8th November 1965. Veterans remembered the anger they felt when they were told that they could not go back for him because of American orders. His body was recovered in early 2007 by a group of dedicated Volunteers.
