Margaret Rose Burris, 83, of Farmington was carried home in the Arms of Jesus February 16, 2018. Margaret was born October 12, 1934, to the late Joseph and Helen Moore in Fisk, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Robert Burris June 24, 1950, who preceded her in death July 25, 2005.

Survivors include her daughter Debra Abbott; foster-daughter Barbara Brooks; grandchildren, Tara (Louis) Nash, Rachel (Bill) Eckles, and Treva Dodrill; great-grandchildren, Dylan and, Austin Eckles, Ava Dodrill, Danika and Noah Scates. Four nieces and two nephews also survive; and a host of great nieces, nephews, friends and family.

In addition to being a homemaker, Margaret loved floral designing, crocheting, and had worked at Butterfield's, and Bill Berry Florist.

Margaret was a charter member of Open Arms Full Gospel Church, taught Sunday School classes throughout the years and had a spiritual impact on many lives. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation resumes 9a.m., until time of funeral service at 1 p.m., Monday, February 19, 2018, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Chapel with Rev. Louis Nash and Rev. Wayne Baker officiating.

Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to The Arthritis Foundation, Parkinson's Foundation, or your choice of foundations.
