Raina Langston Bishop, age 81, passed away Monday, April 3, 2006, in Hurricane, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 14, 1925, in Hinckley, Utah to Jacob Alma and Edith Reeve Langston. She married James Carlos Bishop February 14, 1946 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Raina graduated valedictorian of Hinckley High School, class of 1943. She was a member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings from the Primary to Relief Society, ward and stake levels, and chorister. Raina along with her husband of 60 years, served two missions for the Church, and she was a temple ordinance worker.

She is survived by her husband, James; five sons, Jim (Jennifer), Bruce (Sherry), Chris (Terrie), Phil (Lisa), Scott (Kayrene); two daughters, Sonya (Larry) Burg, and Doreen (Steve) Rollo; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Orpha Taylor; brothers, Clint and Dale Langston. She is preceded in death by her brother, Keith Langston; sisters, Carla Johnson, Virginia Anderson, LaRue Slack, Shirley Fuller, and Donna Sagers.
