Russell T. Burrow, of Wichita, Kansas, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Family Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 94.
Russell was born the son of John M. and Ella M. (Ellis) Burrow on Friday, June 28, 1918 near Headrick, Oklahoma.
On April 5, 1942, Russell and Elaine Smith were united in marriage. Together they celebrated 70 years of marriage.
Russell was a retired Technical Writer at Boeing Aircraft Company. He was also a proud member of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Burrow of Wichita, Kansas; son, Timothy David Burrow and his wife René of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Meghan and Ian Burrow, Danny Robbins and his wife Zina, Susan Gentry and her husband Randy; great-grandchildren, Daniel Robbins, Rachael Bailey and her husband Thomas, Rebecca Gentry, one great-great-grandson, Axel Bailey and a nephew, Gary Burrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Becky Adams; brother, Johnnie Burrow; sister, Mary Lou Burrow and an infant brother, Victor Burrow.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorial services for Russell will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Tyler Road Southern Baptist Church, Wichita, Kansas.
