Della H. Chaffin
  TEASDALE — A service in memory of Della V. Taylor Hickman Chaffin will be held Friday, May 26, at 1 p.m. in the Teasdale Town Hall.
  Mrs. Chaffin, a longtime resident of Wayne County, died at the age of 97 on Jan. 7, 1989, in Salt Lake City after a brief illness.
  She was born June 4, 1891, in Fremont to Joseph E. and Annie S. Brian Taylor. She was the last survivor among her nine brothers and sisters.
  In 1909 she was married to Joseph S. Hickman; he died July 24, 1925. In 1948 she was married to Arthur L. Chaffin; he died Nov. 23, 1979.
  The mother of eight, Mrs. Chaffin is survived by five daughters, 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
  Following the memorial service, interment will take place in the family plot in Bicknell. The family requests no flowers. Those wishing to honor Mrs. Chaffin's memory are invited to contribute to the Utah State University Development Fund, Logan, Utah, or to a charity of their choice.
