Everett K. Franklin, 70, of Ardmore, died Monday, March 17, at the Medical Center Hospital, Huntsville, AL.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 18, at Rainey's Funeral Home in Ardmore with the Rev. Wheeler Kid officiating. Burial was in Hastings Cemetery.
Mr. Franklin was the son of the late Mattie and James Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Franklin, Decatur, AL; a daughter Mrs. June Pittman, Decatur; a son, David Franklin, Ardmore; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Ruth Mitchell, Athens, AL, Mrs. Lillian Mitchell, Madison, AL, and Mrs. Era King Columbia; a brother, Hubert Franklin, Athens; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
