Daughter of Heinrich/Henry Knaus. Christened at Schwarzwald on 18 Apr 1802. Date of death unknown, although I have seen one researcher list 1867 without sources. I have not found her in the 1870 census or beyond. Married Jacob D. Ludwig on 7 Dec 1819.

Assuming she and Jacob are buried here at St. Pauls in Amity Twp. This is their "home" church where they attended earlier in their marriage. While they raised their family in Exeter Twp, they are not in the Schwarzwald burial records in Jacksonwald, and they are not in the St. Gabriel records in Douglassville nor the Charles Evans records. There does not seem to be any record of their burial, so St. Pauls seems to be a logical choice. Until we can definitively prove where they are buried, this will serve as a placeholder.

Children listed in her family Bible:
1. Edith (1820-1905) - married Henry Keely
2. Franklin (1822- ??) - must have died young since they had another Franklin in 1835
3. Angeline (1824-1871) - married Albert Kline
4. Elmira (1826-1899) - married Effenger Dengler
5. Charles Jackson (1828-1899) - married Eleanor Linderman
6. Valeria (1831-1899) - married Daniel O. Jackson and moved to Decatur, Indiana
7. Harriet Elizabeth (1833-1857) - married Franklin Stauffer
8. Franklin J. (1835 - ??)
9. Olivia Mary (1839-1857) - married Dr. John B. Griesemer
