Thomas "Tommy" Bernard Turner, age 85 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022.

Mr. Turner was born January 17. 1937 in Steubenville, OH to the late Ellis and Edna Free Turner. Tommy was the founder of Turner Tire and was a member of White Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Turner was a veteran of the United States Army, and a sworn Deputy Sheriff in seven Georgia Counties and Captain of the Alto State Prison K-9 Unit. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Turner; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Connie Turner; Tim and Katie Turner; Glenn and Alisa Turner; daughters and sons-in-law, Vonda and Kevin Barrett; Tanya and Clay Dean, all of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, James and Latrelle Turner, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Ray Hawkins, Buford; 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter also survive.

Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022 at White Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Marc Turner and the Rev. Lewis Fortner officiated. Interment followed at White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
