Antoinette was a twin sister of Mary Antonia, who died from pneumonia at six months.

On March 25, 1929, Antoinette, unwed at the time, gave birth to a daughter, Gladys, in Waterloo, Ontario. The child died on July 7, 1929, at the age of three months.

Antoinette was married to Hilbert Seyler. A son, Ervine, who was born in 1935, predeceased his parents in 1955.
