Mary Belle (Risenhoover) Ward was born in Russellville, Oklahoma on November 24, 1939 to Robert and Pauline (Self) Risenhoover. She passed away at Haskell County Hospital on April 3, 2022 at the age of 82.

Mary Belle was the oldest of seven children. She attended school at Ogden and Quinton. She married Leonard Bray in 1959 and to this union two daughters were born, Darlene and JoAnn.

In 1977 she married Calvin Ward and was happily married for 31 years until he preceded her in death in 2008.

Mary Belle was a kind and gentle soul that loved her family, her church family at Jesus Name Church in Quinton, and serving the Lord.

Mary Belle is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pauline Risenhoover; her husband, Calvin Ward; her sister, Paulann Denny; her brother, Jackie Risenhoover; her brother-in-law, Russell Bray; two nephews, Micky Denny and Bobby Bray; and a grandson, Bryan Needham.

Viewing will be held at Mallory Chapel in Quinton from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, April 4, and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 5.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 with Rev. Donnie Taylor and John Paul Denny officiating. Interment under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
