He was born in Independence, Virginia on May 21, 1939 to Franklin Earl and Pearlie Clyde Hamm Osborne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Prior to his retirement, he was a supervisor for the Hop-In chain food store. He was a avid fisherman.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Independence, Virginia.
Mr. Osborne is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Osborne of the home, two daughters, Lynn Osborne Garst of Salem, Virginia and Brittany Osborne of the home; two sons, William C. Osborne, Jr. and Shanon Bailey of Rocky Mount, Virginia and Michael Osborne of Roanoke, Virginia; eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive.
